I can't keep Mo away from writing utensils - particularly pens. No matter where they might be lurking, the trouble maker will find them. Over the last several days, she has managed to write all over my brand new placemats on the dining room table, the wall, the entertainment center, a filing cabinet, and herself. And no matter how closely I am watching her, she still manages to be sneaky about it.
All I can say is thank goodness for the magic eraser. Otherwise, I'd be screwed. (Although the magic eraser doesn't do much good for fabric placemats).
You wish you could do this to someone, right? If you could pick only one person, who would it be? Perhaps you'll feel better just sharing it!!!

1. Kiddie food is addictive. I've become particularly fond of iced animal crackers and fruit snacks - both of which I can safely say I NEVER ate pre-Mo.
2. Since I am addicted to shopping, I find it amusing to keep an Amazon wishlist for Mo. If you're extremely bored, check the link out on the right!! You think anyone would notice if I add some stuff for me? :)
3. Speaking of stuff for me, have you seen the ad for the new Bissell Spotbot? It sits in place cleaning stains from your carpet while you go off in the house to do other things. I want one. Badly.
4. I started removing the wallpaper in Mo's new room. It's a real pain in the neck. One square foot of space down, a zillion more to go.
That's all folks.
Prior to heading out to the hockey game the other night, I attempted to take some pics of Mo out on our front steps. Serious girl. Not one smile the whole time.

It's after 1 in the morning. And I am wide awake. The hubs is sleeping next to me - snoring to his hearts content. And me? I'm sitting here on the laptop blogging about nothing.
Oh, I guess there is something I can mention. The 4th, which was technically over an hour ago, was our 10th wedding anniversary. I have been married for ten freakin' years. Jeepers creepers, where does the time go?
Yep, I have pics of Mo in her Halloween costume.
No, they're not up yet.
Why? Because they're still sitting on my digital camera waiting to be downloaded ... whenever I can find 15 minutes to myself that is!
Trick or treating last night was a blast and although I don't really have time to be blogging right now, I must share one quick story. Since Mo is so young, we just stuck around our immediate neigborhood and visited with some friends. Even though we've been in our neighborhood for over 2 years, we still don't really know most of our neighbors. So as I took Mo around, I introduced myself. At one house, I was told the following by this elderly couple (after I had to spell my name for them 3 times for some unknown reason): "Oh, it's so great to see some local children. I don't know why all these black and hispanic children are here... it's just ridiculous that those city folks come in here like that... "
All I could say was well, black and hispanic children need candy too. I mean what else could I say? Did they think they had the right to say such a thing to a total stranger just because I was white like them?
People are stupid. And these particular stupid people live 4 houses down from me. Oh joy!
