What? That is crazy!! I guess your instincts were steering you in the right direction. Home daycares can be an interesting experience, no doubt about it. There are very good ones out there but sometimes you've got to go thru some strange ones to find them. A co-worker of mine had this home daycare her daughter was in and when the child was potty trained the lady wanted to up the price to watch her because she now uses the toilet and by flushing uses more of their water! lol

Well that just sucks! Having just gone through the daycare search process myself I can sympathize with you. Her explanation doesn't make much sense either. Lots of luck in finding a new person.

Oh no! I have to say that I am a little paranoid about home daycare. I think that your last post indicated that instinctually you were not 100% thrilled and this may just be one of those strange ways in which the Lord works! Hopefully everything will work out in the end and work out WELL!

We use a home daycare that we found through the county. I have to say I LOVE ours but the first 5 we interviewed? No way would I leave my dog there well enough my kids. Have you checked the county for daycare referrals? They should have a list of licensed ones (with openings!).

Trust you gut, sounds like it should have been changed anyways.
