We have ADT (it came with the house) - it is super expensive and I don't sleep any better here than I did when I lived in an apartment and didn't have the security system. Sadly if someone is going to break in and do you harm if they want it bad enough nothing will stop them. There are people that even know how to get around the security systems. So I guess it is all in what you are willing to shell out for peace of mind.

We compared ADT and Brinks, went with brunks, it is cheaper. My favorite feature is the smoke alarm that calls them if there is smoke, that gives real peace of mind. The alarm went ofd last weekend bc of a family member who didnt know it woud be on, and brinks was on my cell pjhone within seconds. Email me if you have any ??
